Search Engine Optimisation
Search Engines are used for
hundreds of millions of searches a day, from potential customers
all over the world.
To ensure that your business can be
found by people searching for the products or services that you
offer, you need to be listed as high as possible in search
results page (SERPs).
To achieve this, your
website needs to be optimised for search engines.
Search Engine Optimisation - findability
Can your website be
found for the key terms that your customers describe your
products or services? You cannot rely on a potential
customer calling it the same as you. What words do they
search on and which searches are commercial – the searcher is
looking to buy your product or service.
Commercial keyword research
Researching your
commercial keywords and phrases to bring your potential
customers to your website is the starting point of all search
engine optimisation projects. Experience and expertise are
needed to identify and utilise this knowledge to make your
website appear at the top of search results.
Keyword placement
Placing your
keywords and key phrases in key elements of your company web
pages ensures that your products and services can be found by
your customers.
These elements
consist of the metadata, headings, alt text and body content of
each web page.
How much does search engine optimisation cost?
The keyword
research and set up £500+vat
Development of optimised
metadata £50+vat
per page
Search engine
optimisation copy, editing of text content £50+vat per page
Notes on SEO pricing
Not all of your web pages may need
or benefit from optimisation (so don't think that because you
have a 400 page website or a database of 10,000 products that
you can't afford this). Often, our clients will opt to
have 10 or 20 pages optimised in phase one of the overall
promotion project, and then have more pages optimised later as
budgets allow.
The £500 keyword analysis applies
only once to a website, unless the site is entirely redeveloped,
or focuses on a different customer base and product or service
offering, so subsequent charges are for the number of pages
only.
Bespoke training to empower
your business team
We also offer bespoke training to companies and organisations of
all kinds. This means that many of our clients opt to for
a combination of SEO services, we carry out the keyword analysis
and optimise a number of pages initially, then we train an
individual or team to continue the work based on our research
and understanding of your business objectives. This keeps
costs right down, especially for large websites, plus your team
is empowered for the future. We then provide follow up
support as required to make sure that you succeed in the task
and keep on track. See
in-company bespoke training.
If your website is large then consider search engine
optimisation
training.
