This is a practical workshop to assist you in providing suitable instructions and ongoing communication and support to your web developer – whether externally contracted or an in-house individual/department - to achieve an effective web site that will benefit your business. [course objectives] This course will give you the knowledge and tools that are needed to communicate effectively with the web developer or designer: the language and the processes involved. Using a Web site design brief will help you remain in control of the project and the developer will have a clear set of parameters to help them produce and publish a web site that will achieve the objectives you have set. [pre requisites] It is not assumed that the delegates have any prior knowledge of website development or internet marketing, but will have used the internet and be familiar with their company or organisations function. Delegates would benefit with being familiar with details of the objectives and requirements of the planned website although this is not essential. [format – what type of course this is] This course is a practical hands-on workshop with lots of opportunities to discuss, question and network experiences. [follow up] During this course you will have created an outline web site design brief which will serve as a structure and task list for implementation.
