At the end of the course the delegate should be able to:

  • Have clear expectations for how the internet can help their business or organisation

  • Have a broad knowledge of the types of technologies that are currently available on the internet

  • Define customer needs and competitor differentiation more effectively

  • Develop a website design brief to effectively communicate the objectives and plans of the business or organisation to the website developer

  • Choose a suitable domain name and understand website hosting

  • Understand Copyright and other IP issues as they apply to their website and website developer

  • Be aware of identity theft, hackers and other security issues that may impact on the planning and implementation of their website

  • Ensure that their website complies with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995

  • Source, choose and commission a website developer

  • Be aware of the project management requirements in developing a website for their business or organisation

During this course you will have created an outline action plan which will serve as a structure and task list for implementing change. It is recommended (although of course not compulsory) that this is implemented as soon as reasonably possible following the course (while the learning is still fresh.

All workshops are currently charged at £950 per day.  This is an inclusive price for up to 12 delegates at the clients premises or venue. Discounts may apply to qualifying situations.

Travelling and any necessary accommodation expenses are charged at cost.  If required we can arrange a venue for the workshop at a location convenient to you, this is charged at cost plus a 20% administration fee.
